varieties from Cleangro breeding are some of the earliest natural flowering in the market and will easily make a 2.5-3 litre pot from potting a single rooted cutting in 10 to 12weeks from a week 18-24 potting. Smaller sizes may be produced from later pottings and controlled (blacked out) cropping. Six pack production can be made in natural daylength in the autumn or black out conditions earlier in the year. Most of these varieties will flower naturally in September and early October.

The Multiflora series of varieties have similar growth habit to the ‘Belgian Ball’ type of varieties and an excellent flowering performance. They have been selected to produce a good round plant with overall flowering and compact domed shape which allows packing tightly and often in sleeves to maximise trolley use. Flowering from the earliest in end August and September to the very latest in early November.

The newest varieties from these breeding programmes allow the grower to produce in natural conditions for a period of approximately 10 weeks and those who can employ black out indoors can extend this season and schedule cropping even more accurately. In addition there are now more colours and flower forms in the range to select from making the job a lot easier.
